[00:00:00] Welcome everybody to another special episode of Brunswick Group Therapy.

[00:00:23] I'm Kimberly.

[00:00:24] I'm Lucas. first that I've already made for the eyes and the nose and we'll put it all together and we'll end up with something like that. Hopefully. All right. Sure it'll look exactly like that. All right. So the first step, we're going to do the heart first. So Kimberly, you're going to do the heart. Okay. And you're pink and Lucas, you're going to do the llama. Okay.

[00:01:40] So what you're going to do is I have the cookies kind of drawn on a little bit, just so you

[00:01:44] can see what they're going to look like, Yep, you're going to outline the whole cookie. Lucas, you're going to leave a couple parts bare. So you have some ears right here. You're going to leave that there. And then the tips of your feet right there are going to be a different color.

[00:03:02] So just leave a little spot for those.

[00:03:04] So you're going to to kind of move fast. The faster the better. Don't be afraid to apply icing and get a nice thick flood. Each cookie has about a half an ounce of icing on it. Mm-hmm. And you want to make sure you move the icing around with the scribe just like this. I'm using a toothpick but you can use like a turkey baster if you want or a scribe tool. Can I see this for one second? I'm just going to add just a little bit more icing. Oh you can't have too much going to move it around just like that. Now you're going to take some red and you're just going to add dots. Remember where I had those dots? Yeah, vaguely. Yep. So we're going to add a dot, dot, dot, dot all the way around the perimeter. Okay, got it.

[00:07:00] And then take your toothpick and just kind right in the middle again. A clean toothpick and shake it again. Good. And then shake it with a clean toothpick. I reckon use the other side. Sure. Look at that shake thing. That's so cool.

[00:08:23] What you can do is... It hides the too. Just leave a small spot right at the edge for the feet, the hoofs to add on. So you take orders in home for cookies. Yeah I do it all myself. Cookie cakes. Cookie cakes. I started doing cookie sickles which are like cake sickles but made with cookie dough instead.

[00:09:42] So they're pretty good. They're dipped in chocolate. Just fill it in. Oh, that's fun. Yeah, so. This has become a very popular thing to do, especially in the wintertime. Oh, yeah. See a lot of it happening. Any of those kind of classes, the painting and the things like that, anything where you can use any kind of creativity.

[00:11:00] So right in there and give it a shake.

[00:11:02] Can I jiggle?

[00:11:02] Yep.

[00:11:03] Give it a shake.

[00:11:04] Same with you, Lucas.

[00:11:06] And you'll see the icing gets real thick for flowers

[00:12:20] and you have to, you know,

[00:12:22] it kind of hurts your hand after a while, so.

[00:12:25] But other than that, yeah. on it. I want to see which way the nose is going. Okay and then the two little eyes. So you might want to use a toothpick to apply those. If you have just a little bit of icing on the tip of your toothpick it's easier to pick them up and apply them. And so you'll do the dots and then you'll take a clean toothpick

[00:13:42] and swirl that all the way through. Wait, yep, I'll help you Lucas. Hold on one second. You guys went in a different order. So there's two different ways to do this. So you can do your back, your saddle on that. Got it. And if you want to add the lines in blue for the little thing around his neck, whatever that's called, you can do that as well. Am I doing this in blue or this blue? Just the outline. Oh, the outline.

[00:15:00] So what's in red, you're gonna actually do in blue on that.

[00:15:02] Got it, got it.

[00:15:03] So for you, yours might already be a little dry.

[00:15:06] So you're can take your saddle there and you can add red or pink

[00:16:20] in the middle right here. Whichever color you want.

[00:16:24] What size groups do you usually a little thicker necklace. I have no idea. Does it make rhinol different? Bridal? Maybe? No. What is it? I have no idea. Where's our horse people? Bridal? Yes. Harness? So what you want to do, Lucas, is outline it in blue, though, because the blue is a different consistency. So it's a little thicker, and it'll keep the icing from running. Understood. And then you can fill it in in any color you want.

[00:17:41] Right.

[00:17:44] So once again, this is Megan from Nutmeg.

[00:17:48] Custom cookies. Right on top here. Right on top. Two nice circles. And then you can fill in your saddle there with any color you want. So usually the classes are about two hours. And we have a little more time to work on more cookies and let them dry as we go. Because as you can see that's a big part of doing cookies is they need a little bit of time to dry.

[00:19:05] Otherwise you're doing mostly wet on had to draw all that on there. Yeah, so I try to make it easy. Some people use like projection and some people use videos and things like that but I try to make it pretty easy by drawing on the cookies

[00:20:22] and then we go by steps to go through each part. She's taking them with her. She's not going to let us keep them. She is not taking these with her because she doesn't want anyone to know who made these. She doesn't want anyone to think it came out of her. So if you pull it too much like that, you can fix it by adding more white if you

[00:21:40] want or you can leave it as like a tight-eyed heart. Tight-eyed heart. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that would be. It does. It works out great. Yeah, like get your team together. You know what you could do is you could pass the cookie on to the next person and then that person could add to the cookie. There you go. Perfect. I love it. Alright. I think that's uh. That was a lot of fun. What do you think?
