[00:00:02] Welcome to the Brunswick Group Therapy Podcast with Lucas and Kimberly.

[00:00:10] Hey everybody, this is Kimberly and this is episode number 78 and I am going solo. So let's see how it goes. We've got a lot of content as far as events and stuff like that. So let's kick it off. Let's talk about the human bean. It's got some new winter drinks in.

[00:00:27] So if a candied peppermint snowy sounds good or a muddy granita, it looks like a candied peppermint one toffee crunch latte. That sounds like a good one. Lucas is feeling under the weather this week and I bet you a pistachio vanilla latte would make him feel so much better.

[00:00:46] And then rounding it off with a Mary Berry and bright energy drink. So any of those sound good to you or even if they don't, they'll make you whatever you would like. So head over to the human bean over on 303.

[00:00:56] Remember, they've been so supportive to the community. So let's give them some love back. All right. Moving right along. We're going to talk about Brunswick Hills share the warmth program now through December 21st.

[00:01:08] New items only please. The Brunswick Hills Police Department is collecting items such as winter hats, socks, gloves, boots, mittens, coats, and hoodies sizes 4T to adults.

[00:01:21] Drop it off in the lobby 24-7. The PlayStation is at the corner of Substation and Grafton in case you didn't know.

[00:01:27] All items will stay local and they'll be distributed by SRO Officer Fisher to Brunswick students.

[00:01:33] So if you could help out with that program, that would be great. That's now through December 21st.

[00:01:37] And let's see. Woven with Promise would like to thank the Medina Auxiliary 2224.

[00:01:44] They gave a $3,000 donation to Woven with Promise, their nonprofit clothing ministry.

[00:01:50] And they do a lot of great things over there.

[00:01:52] Just a thank you to the Fraternal Order Eagles, Medina Eagles, for their donation to that program.

[00:01:59] We thank you very much.

[00:02:00] And moving right. This is so weird doing this by myself.

[00:02:04] So I just feel like, all right, stick with me, you guys. Stick with me.

[00:02:09] Letters with Sienna. This was a real popular one.

[00:02:13] Kristen's husband is a mailman and brings home letters written with Sienna and she responds.

[00:02:19] So address the lender to Sienna. No physical address needed.

[00:02:22] Postage is not needed. If you just want a response from Sienna, just put it in your mailbox for pickup.

[00:02:27] If you want to include a return address, I've received a ton in the past.

[00:02:33] She says that she's not able to respond to because there's no address.

[00:02:36] So free letters with Sienna.

[00:02:39] Just drop that in the mail and they'll make the magic happen this holiday season.

[00:02:43] Thank you very much to Kristen and her husband who is a mailman in Brunswick.

[00:02:47] We thank you guys very much for doing that project.

[00:02:50] Grounded Bean is hiring.

[00:02:52] If you're looking for a little part-time gig, weekend and weekday morning availability,

[00:02:58] must have a positive attitude, great customer service skills, and barista experience is preferred,

[00:03:04] but they will train somebody willing to learn.

[00:03:06] So they just need somebody about 15 hours or so.

[00:03:08] So if you're interested, head over to the Grounded Bean and either stop by or email them

[00:03:13] or contact them on Facebook and they will get to talk to you about that.

[00:03:18] Also hiring Donutland evenings and weekends.

[00:03:21] Please send them a message on Facebook or email Amanda and it's amanda.donutland at gmail.com

[00:03:28] to schedule an interview.

[00:03:29] So if you're interested in either one of those, they would love to talk to you.

[00:03:33] And let's do it one more time.

[00:03:35] Drugbart is hiring.

[00:03:37] Open interviews.

[00:03:37] They are looking for, what does it say here?

[00:03:41] Let's see.

[00:03:41] Cashier stock and deli.

[00:03:43] So if you're looking for another, again, I think this is part-time,

[00:03:46] but stop up there and talk to, that's the one on Pearl Road next to Kelly's Cafe.

[00:03:50] Stop up there and talk to Drug Mart if you're interested in that.

[00:03:54] Let's see what else we got here on the schedule this week.

[00:03:57] I want to remind you guys that Wingstop is coming right along.

[00:04:00] The construction is going really well,

[00:04:02] as well as the construction for the Revolving Sushi Bar,

[00:04:06] which you guys will be able to find me at 24-7 once it opens.

[00:04:11] I'll just live there.

[00:04:12] But look for those two establishments to come soon to the Brunswick area.

[00:04:16] We're excited.

[00:04:17] Something new.

[00:04:18] Speaking of food, here we go.

[00:04:21] The Thanksgiving pie is back at Ohio Pie.

[00:04:24] He says they've already hit,

[00:04:26] but they've already sold about 500 already this year.

[00:04:29] And it's only like a week into it.

[00:04:32] So it must be good.

[00:04:34] So if you're thinking about trying Thanksgiving a little bit early,

[00:04:37] call Ohio Pie.

[00:04:38] They also brought back the pickled pie.

[00:04:39] So if you're interested in that,

[00:04:41] the pickled pizza is amazing.

[00:04:44] So call them up and get those sometime soon.

[00:04:48] And right now we're going to take a break.

[00:04:50] We're going to go over to Roger at Houndstown,

[00:04:52] and he's going to tell us about Romaine.

[00:04:57] Hey, Lucas and Kimberly.

[00:04:59] It's Roger from Houndstown.

[00:05:01] Happy Friday.

[00:05:02] Just wanted to give you an update,

[00:05:04] and everybody who's listening,

[00:05:05] an update on our latest rescue that we have here

[00:05:09] from Berea Animal Rescue.

[00:05:11] His name is Romaine.

[00:05:13] He is a great little pup,

[00:05:16] five-month-old pit terrier mix.

[00:05:19] Great personality.

[00:05:20] Loves both humans and other pups.

[00:05:23] He is a puppy, though.

[00:05:24] So, you know, as puppies will,

[00:05:26] he can, you know,

[00:05:27] look for a different fun to get in trouble with.

[00:05:31] But overall, he's doing great here

[00:05:33] with the other pups that he's been with.

[00:05:36] And for those that have been looking for smaller dogs

[00:05:39] and also looking for puppies,

[00:05:41] this would be a great fit for your family.

[00:05:43] You can get more information

[00:05:44] at our Houndstown Cleveland-Brunswick site

[00:05:47] on Facebook,

[00:05:48] or you can go to the Berea Animal Rescue site

[00:05:51] not only to see more information on Romaine,

[00:05:53] but the other pups and cats that are up for adoption.

[00:05:56] Also, just wanted to share with you,

[00:05:58] I teased it out last week.

[00:05:59] We have now created the Pictures with Santa event

[00:06:04] that's coming up on Saturday, December 7th

[00:06:09] here at Houndstown from 10 to 2.

[00:06:11] There's more information.

[00:06:12] You can find that as well

[00:06:14] on our Houndstown Cleveland-Brunswick Facebook page.

[00:06:18] It is a suggested donation of $10 per family,

[00:06:22] but it is for a great cause.

[00:06:24] This is for another rescue

[00:06:26] that we work with once a year.

[00:06:27] It's called Rescue Me Possum Style,

[00:06:30] and they do an unbelievable job,

[00:06:32] especially with abused animals,

[00:06:35] and you can get more information on them

[00:06:37] on our site as well.

[00:06:38] But anyways, just teasing that out.

[00:06:40] That's open to anybody and everybody.

[00:06:41] We do encourage people to RSVP beforehand,

[00:06:45] and there's information on our site about that.

[00:06:48] And at the same time,

[00:06:49] you can show up the day of the event as well.

[00:06:52] So I'll remind you guys again as we approach closer,

[00:06:55] but anybody who wants to get that on your calendar,

[00:06:59] again, that's Saturday, December 7th here at Houndstown in Brunswick

[00:07:02] from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

[00:07:05] I hope everybody has a great weekend,

[00:07:07] and we'll be back at you next week.

[00:07:08] Take care.

[00:07:37] Sure.

[00:07:39] And learn to make your own chunky blanket,

[00:07:41] and you must purchase all the yarn and stuff

[00:07:45] and bring it to class with you.

[00:07:46] So get in touch with them.

[00:07:48] They'll tell you what to bring,

[00:07:49] all that good stuff.

[00:07:50] So again, that's tomorrow night at 6 o'clock at Tangled Vine.

[00:07:54] If you are looking to see the J. Paul and Mike Tyson fight,

[00:08:26] Not yogurt and wine.

[00:08:27] It's yoga and wine.

[00:13:59] I'm almost done.

[00:14:00] I'm almost done.

[00:14:00] It's so weird

[00:14:01] doing this by myself.

[00:14:02] I don't know.

[00:14:04] We should have had a call-in

[00:14:05] where people call in

[00:14:06] or something like that.

[00:14:07] We've got a couple more

[00:14:08] things on the calendar

[00:14:09] to tell you about.

[00:14:10] So Panini's Dying to Donate

[00:14:12] Thursday,

[00:14:12] November 21st.

[00:14:14] And that's for

[00:14:15] Crestview Elementary.

[00:14:16] So again,

[00:14:17] remember,

[00:14:18] Panini's Dying to Donate

[00:14:19] is all day long

[00:14:20] from 11 a.m.

[00:14:21] to 10 p.m.

[00:14:22] Come on over

[00:14:23] and help the PTO

[00:14:25] get a percentage

[00:14:26] of the sales.

[00:14:26] You must present

[00:14:27] the flyer

[00:14:28] or show them

[00:14:28] the Facebook page

[00:14:30] to get them

[00:14:31] the credit for that.

[00:14:33] All right.

[00:14:34] Let's see.

[00:14:35] Let's see.

[00:14:36] Thursday,

[00:14:37] November 21st,

[00:14:38] 6 o'clock.

[00:14:39] Snow Globe Workshop

[00:14:40] with Grassroots Design.

[00:14:41] That's over

[00:14:42] at the Tangled Vine.

[00:14:44] Cost is $49.

[00:14:46] And again,

[00:14:46] that's Thursday,

[00:14:47] November 21st.

[00:14:49] Again,

[00:14:49] we keep saying it.

[00:14:50] I'm saying again,

[00:14:51] go check out

[00:14:51] the Facebook page

[00:14:52] for all the information.

[00:14:53] But now you know

[00:14:54] you heard about it here.

[00:14:55] Snow Globe Workshop.

[00:14:56] They look absolutely adorable.

[00:14:58] 6 o'clock,

[00:14:59] November 21st,

[00:15:00] next week.

[00:15:01] So get your tickets.

[00:15:02] Also on the 21st

[00:15:03] at Amy's Arbor

[00:15:04] is a holiday special

[00:15:06] sip and craft.

[00:15:07] So you'll be

[00:15:08] doing a fresh flower

[00:15:10] holiday centerpiece,

[00:15:12] small wine plates

[00:15:13] and everything

[00:15:13] to make your very own.

[00:15:15] So,

[00:15:16] wine and small plates

[00:15:17] it says

[00:15:18] and everything

[00:15:18] to make your own

[00:15:19] is $45 a person.

[00:15:21] Thursday,

[00:15:22] the 21st,

[00:15:23] holiday sip

[00:15:24] and craft

[00:15:25] at Amy's Arbor's.

[00:15:27] Check them out.

[00:15:28] I am getting

[00:15:28] tongue twisted

[00:15:29] because I'm just,

[00:15:31] I'm flabbergasted.

[00:15:32] I can't believe I did it.

[00:15:34] Don't forget about

[00:15:35] the tree lighting

[00:15:35] November 29th.

[00:15:37] I gotta throw that in there.

[00:15:38] And we are so excited

[00:15:39] to have

[00:15:41] Amphibian

[00:15:42] Flow Arts Entertainment

[00:15:44] sponsored

[00:15:44] by

[00:15:45] Moscarino Group.

[00:15:46] So excited about that.

[00:15:48] So make sure you have

[00:15:49] November 29th

[00:15:50] on your calendar

[00:15:51] for the second annual

[00:15:53] Brunswick Community

[00:15:54] Christmas Tree Lighting

[00:15:55] event.

[00:15:55] And don't forget

[00:15:57] about our

[00:15:57] decorating contest.

[00:15:58] That's gonna do it

[00:15:59] for me.

[00:16:00] I think you guys

[00:16:01] are tired of hearing

[00:16:01] about me

[00:16:02] or from me

[00:16:03] or whatever.

[00:16:04] We hope Lucas feels

[00:16:05] better because

[00:16:06] I don't wanna do this

[00:16:06] alone anymore.

[00:16:07] All right,

[00:16:07] we'll see you guys

[00:16:08] next week.

[00:16:09] Bye-bye.

[00:16:09] I congratulate you

[00:16:27] little boy.

[00:16:28] Well done.

[00:16:32] Oscar Slugworth,

[00:16:33] president of Slugworth

[00:16:34] Chocolates Incorporated.

[00:16:36] Now listen carefully

[00:16:38] because I'm going to

[00:16:38] make you very rich indeed.

[00:16:40] So all I want you to do

[00:16:41] is to get hold of

[00:16:42] just one

[00:16:43] bring it to me

[00:16:43] so that I can find

[00:16:44] the secret formula.

[00:16:46] Your reward will be

[00:16:47] 10,000 of these.

[00:16:50] Think it over with you.

[00:16:52] A new house

[00:16:52] for your family

[00:16:53] and good food
