[00:00:02] Welcome to the Brunswick Group Therapy Podcast with Lucas and Kimberly.

[00:00:11] Hello everyone.

[00:00:13] Episode 70.

[00:00:16] Let's get it going.

[00:00:18] Right.

[00:00:19] First and foremost, congratulations to Brunswick High School Band for their outstanding performance recently at the OMEA Competition.

[00:00:26] They were named Grand Champion.

[00:00:28] They collected a pile of awards.

[00:00:33] First place in class AA, earned a superior rating which qualified them for the state.

[00:00:38] One best percussion, overall visual, overall music.

[00:00:43] Yaddi Adiata.

[00:00:44] They just looked really good out there.

[00:00:46] Wow.

[00:00:47] That's a lot.

[00:00:48] Yeah.

[00:00:49] Congratulations to them.

[00:00:50] We do have Mom, you know what I was supposed to say that because it's probably a tag line, but I always say it.

[00:00:54] The best dang B&L and the Seria, at least.

[00:00:57] Sure, no.

[00:00:59] So speaking of Brunswick City Schools, it's that time again you get to test drive a school bus.

[00:01:07] That is if you're considering joining the Transportation Team.

[00:01:10] So if you're curious about what it feels like to get behind the wheel of a bus and want to try it out, mark your calendar for Saturday, October 12th from 9 to 11.

[00:01:20] And of course, you do have to register.

[00:01:22] The event is open to anyone 21 years of older with the valid driver's license.

[00:01:26] Very unique opportunity.

[00:01:28] I think this is the second year they've done that.

[00:01:31] So if you're thinking about being a bus driver, that will take place over the high school.

[00:01:35] Stadium parking lot behind the current high school.

[00:01:38] And so far so good on the busing.

[00:01:40] Haven't seen many complaints after the first week.

[00:01:44] Yeah, it's got pretty quiet on that topic.

[00:01:45] They got it together.

[00:01:47] Yeah.

[00:01:48] Well, we got.

[00:01:49] Well, we got Whistler Express car wash.

[00:01:52] Who's that?

[00:01:53] That is Rainforest Car Wash.

[00:01:54] They're changing the name.

[00:01:56] They were purchased by a larger company called Whistler Express car wash and they're inviting people out tomorrow, ADAM till 2pm to get a free car wash.

[00:02:07] Very nice.

[00:02:09] And what else we got?

[00:02:10] Oh, this is a good.

[00:02:13] This is I love when you give me the food topics because this looks like a good one.

[00:02:19] So one of the vendors for Market 42 has actually posted that they're coming.

[00:02:26] So that's good news.

[00:02:28] Looking forward to many more of these, but I'm not an all garden.

[00:02:31] Sorry, but I bet they have amazing breadsticks to go with meatballs that are like the size of my head.

[00:02:38] They're huge.

[00:02:40] Yeah, so fast casual Italian pasta bowls.

[00:02:44] They use fresh pasta from Ohio City, pasta.

[00:02:47] And less than two minutes, your pasta will be cooked and ready for you to eat.

[00:02:52] Obviously Market 42 has a on-site communal area to eat where one person can go to pasta fresca and pick up some pasta.

[00:03:02] I don't want you to go over to the taco stand and grab system street tacos and then you go over and get some beer from the brewer and actually announce that that's going to be opening up in November.

[00:03:14] That sounds amazing.

[00:03:16] Can't wait to try that out.

[00:03:18] A little bit of little they're plugging away over there, so hopefully that stays on task.

[00:03:23] We all know how construction deadlines are.

[00:03:26] Speaking of food, 900 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

[00:03:29] That's a lot.

[00:03:31] That is a lot.

[00:03:33] So thank you to the rotary club, Bronswick.

[00:03:35] I see a couple of familiar faces in there.

[00:03:37] I see a Kelly and I see fire chief Greg Glonner.

[00:03:43] And I think Carl DeForce is in one of those two, so 900 sandwiches that will help support seeing their roast peanut butter and jelly brigade.

[00:03:52] A mission that helps to be the homeless in the Cleveland area.

[00:03:55] So that's a lot of sandwiches.

[00:03:57] Yeah, that teamwork makes the dream work, right?

[00:04:00] Right.

[00:04:01] Good job everybody.

[00:04:02] That was amazing.

[00:04:04] Okay, let's stay on the food.

[00:04:05] Yeah, people are going again.

[00:04:06] Larbe is celebrating their nine year anniversary September 26.

[00:04:10] Be giving away one free beer to every person and have four dollar appetizers.

[00:04:15] So check them out, September 26.

[00:04:18] And thanks for being part of community.

[00:04:20] Right.

[00:04:21] You may have to show up on that one free beer.

[00:04:23] They said you're two favorite words.

[00:04:25] If it's free, it's for me.

[00:04:28] So on a more serious note, Madana County Health Department will like to announce that Narcan is free and easy to get.

[00:04:36] So head to any of the partner sites in the community.

[00:04:39] No questions asked in our area.

[00:04:41] The Brunswick Rec Center is a location.

[00:04:44] Yeah, let's head over to Roger at Hounds Town to check out the dog he's got up for adoption this week.

[00:04:50] Look to the week.

[00:04:52] Hey everybody.

[00:04:53] Hope you've had a great week.

[00:04:54] This is Roger from Hounds Town.

[00:04:56] Just checking in with my weekly update.

[00:04:58] This week we have OB with us.

[00:05:00] OB actually could be a twin of Brooks who was with us last week.

[00:05:03] Could be as younger brother.

[00:05:05] They look very similar.

[00:05:07] So if you look at any of the pictures on our Hounds Town Brunswick Facebook page, you'll see some pictures of him.

[00:05:14] But he's doing wonderful.

[00:05:15] He is a little over a year old.

[00:05:18] They all cally nicks and also has graduated from the grafting training program.

[00:05:25] So he knows all of his basic commands.

[00:05:27] We'd love to hopefully find him his forever home.

[00:05:30] So if anybody's interested in a range in a meet and greet, please call us here at Hounds Town.

[00:05:35] Our number is 330404050352.

[00:05:39] Again, you can go on the Facebook page at Hounds Town Brunswick Facebook page.

[00:05:44] See pictures of OB or you can also go to the Brie Animal Rescue site and on there they have all of the pictures of the dogs and cats that they have with them that are up for adoption.

[00:05:54] So again, hope everybody has a great weekend and we will be back at you next week.

[00:06:01] Another cutie.

[00:06:02] Yep, if you're interested in him give Roger a call or check out the Brie Animal Rescue Fund.
