Moda is the New Baskets Galore! Brunswicks very own Baskets Galore has rebranded to Moda (inspired by the Mother-Daughter team of Deborah and Hannah). They're a modern gift company specializing in incredible corporate and local gift baskets. Stop by their showroom in the old Phoenix Bank building (remember 1997?) to see the vault and check out goodies like Root candles and those must-try bourbon pretzels!
Fresh Picks: Sweet corn season is here! Get the best Ohio has to offer at Taste of Summer Farm Market on Pearl Rd. (Open daily 10-5) or their Market 42 location.
Red Onion Calendar: The Red Onion has released its Sept/Oct schedule. Highlights include Jimbo's Philly Cheese Steak Truck on select Sundays, daily food specials, and popular Boozy Bingo nights (Sept 20 & Oct 17 – call to reserve, it sells out!).
New Blessing Box: A huge thank you to First Responder Chuck Callie (builder) and Stephanie (the beloved face painter from Pickle Pineapple) for installing a new Free Food Pantry / Blessing Box outside Donut Land! It's stocked but could use more boxed goods like mac & cheese or Hamburger Helper. Take what you need, leave what you can.
Roundabouts Coming (Eventually): Township Trustee Ryan Nixon met with ODOT. Plans are finalized for roundabouts at 303/Marks and 303/Substation to improve safety. The catch? Construction isn't scheduled until 2031.
