[00:00:39] to The Brunswick Group Therapy Podcast with Lucas and Kimberly. We're at it. Again? Now? Just a day late.

[00:01:08] Eh, you know. Doesn't matter. It's all good. Keep everyone guessing when we're gonna pop up. Right. Oh, gosh. Alright, what do we got? We have Medina County Fix-It funds are still available through September 30th. You can apply for a bank loan through the Medina County Treasurer for 2% below the bank's current rate. This is to repair your home.

[00:01:37] So most home repairs would be covered. Jacuzzis are not covered? No, I don't think Jacuzzis are covered. Okay. There's some other stuff like roofs and stuff like that. I can't think of everything. But first come first serve basis, but money is still available. Oh, right there. Certain luxury improvements do not qualify. Yeah. No.

[00:02:04] No salt baths or anything like that. Oh my goodness. Alright, moving right along. Red Onion is, are we there? Wait. Am I in the right spot? Yeah. Okay, good. Red Onion's released their event calendar for September and October. Yeah. It's a twofer. Mm-hmm. Twofer. Wow. Everything from their daily specials to trivia to boozy bingo. Um, so check them out.

[00:02:33] They've always got something going on there. Rib dinner for Browns versus Tennessee game next month. Yeah. It's a sponsoring the Brunswick Hills Police Department Community Outreach Program and canine officers. Yeah. Did you know the canine unit? The canine is privately funded. Yes. I did know that. Yep. Yep, yep, yep. Okay. So check them out. They've got a ton of stuff. I don't see anything for the clam bake. I wonder if they sold out already. Um, yeah, they might have.

[00:03:03] Their clam bake is pretty popular. I know other places do clam bakes too. Let's see. Manzo's does one. I think, um, I think Backyard had one last year. I don't remember. I don't remember. I'm not a fan of clam, so. Oh, I know. How old are you in France? I know. Sorry. More for you. True. I want to remind everybody that Comfort Suites Brunswick has a large gathering room that they rent out and they're now booking for Halloween parties.

[00:03:33] Uh, Aaron and I have used that a couple times now. Uh, it's nice because you can bring your own catering. Mm-hmm. You know, you can bring your own food. You can bring your own drink. Um, and it's very spacious and, uh, not pricey. And you know me, like, not pricey. Right. All right. Moving right along. That's called dead air. We're just, we get really quiet. We must be out of it today.

[00:04:03] Mm-hmm. Oh, my goodness. We're at the top. Some background music or something. Are we at the top or the bottom? I lost my list. We're on the bottom right here. Oh, my gosh. We're on the bottom. All right. Halloween Fest. And that is over at, um... Fair Trade. Fair Trade. Thank you. Yep. So that's coming up this Saturday from 10 to 3. Um, head on over there. And this is a yearly thing for them. They'll have mums, mums, and more mums.

[00:04:32] As it says, pumpkins, corn stalks, hay bale, fun, and food. So check them out again this Saturday from 10 to 3 over at Fair Trade. Mm-hmm. Next to the soon-to-be-leaving lunas. Yeah. Yeah. They said they should be moved by the end of this month. Wow. Moving over to Mark's Plaza. We're going to have to go over there for one last hurrah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:05:00] And this one, uh, karaoke night at Market 42 is this Saturday at 8 p.m. Um, you can stop up and sing your heart out. Are you going to sing? Not this week. Nope. Uh, no talent is required. Just good vibes, great drinks, and a fun crowd. Uh, and that's, uh, at Market 42 presented by McGinty's Pub. One of these weeks. Yeah. All right.

[00:05:27] This is Larry Hawes and the octopus from Louisiana. Yeah. Why didn't you give me this one on purpose? Uh, yeah, I don't, uh. Is this a Manzo thing? It is a Manzo. Oh, how did I know? Yeah, I've never heard of this band, but it says back to where it all started. Hmm. So. Well, that's Saturday at 8 30 if you want to check them out. Mm-hmm. Again, Larry Hawes and the octopus from Louisiana. Yeah. Okay. You mad that I gave you that one?

[00:05:56] Here, you can do this one. No. No. Oh, I can do this one too. Thank you. Coming up Tuesday, September 15th is a free open house at Blastmaster inside Market 42. If you have not stopped into Blastmaster, they have all things etched, engraved, laser engraving, all that kind of stuff. Um, they do special orders, obviously.

[00:06:22] And if you're a local business and you want to, uh, get a coaster, you get a free coaster with your business logo on it. Nice. But, um. There was a registration date though. Yeah, but I don't know. Oh, was there a deadline? No, I thought there was. Anyway. But stop by over there. That's from 6 to 8 30. I'm sure if they have a moment, they might be able to get in, but you should contact them ahead of time. You can just message them on Facebook and see if you've passed the deadline or not. Uh, more market 42.

[00:06:52] This is Tuesday, September 15th at 6 30 PM. It is, uh, halfway to St. Patty's day. Um, with the shell. Yeah. Game night. Oh, I see what they did there. Shell. Yeah. Shell. Yeah. Shell. Yeah. Uh, and that's a bingo. Bingo. Yeah. Balls drop at 7 PM. It's 21 and over at $7 in advance. $10 at the door.

[00:07:21] You can find that information on the market 42. Click on events or begin these pub. Click on events or show. Events by Michelle. M E S H E L L. And, uh, those tickets are on event, right? That's a good time for sure. Moving right along. Moving right along. Next Wednesday, dine to donate at Panda Express.

[00:07:49] And that is for. It's one of the PTOs. One of the PTOs. Yeah. Oh, Applewood. Awesome. And that's an all day event. So from 10 AM to Panda Express at 10 AM. Um, well, you could do that probably. Yeah. I could do Panda Express. I did. 10 AM to 9 30 PM. Um, again, dying to donate Panda Express for Applewood PTO. Uh, Oh yeah. And they will give 20% of their sales.

[00:08:19] That's pretty awesome. Very nice. Yeah. Um, this one is over at the draft house, which is happening September 16th at 7 PM. I think that's, uh, that Wednesday as well. Uh, it's named that tune trivia. The kitchen is open and, um, good times to be had. So if you, uh, are a music person and like trivia, um, this event is for you and they have

[00:08:47] excellent wings as well as some other things, but, um, cold beer. Yeah. The beer is very cold. This one's exciting. Because you want me to try and say their name? Is that why? You know, so, uh, to block two pocks is what I call it. Go ahead. Say it the right way. To lock a pocket to lock a pocket. Okay. Whatever. I like to box. Anyway, they have a big announcement. They are having a mariachi night is coming.

[00:09:16] Um, that's going to be next week, September 17th. Mm-hmm. Um, does it say what time? Um, yeah. And I clicked away from it. Let's see here. 530 to 830. Okay. Oh yeah. In this picture here. Oh yeah. They're there. Look at that. Mm-hmm. Mariachi night next week. That's Thursday. Uh, September 16th, seven o'clock. That sounds like something I could probably go to.

[00:09:43] I want to go and try their frozen margaritas. They're not frozen margaritas. What are those called? The, they're not frozen margaritas. They're, oh my gosh. What? Heather's not listening and she could help me. They started serving something different and I, they may even be flights like frozen flights. Maybe that's what it is. I was excited about something that they had, but anyway, maybe I'll just pop in on Thursday

[00:10:12] and find out. Erin went there with friends recently and she ordered something with pineapple in it or so she thought and it came out in a, in a pineapple. Um, she was not disappointed, but she was surprised. Um, and she actually ordered again the next time. Well, have you seen some of their flaming? They have like a bowl with a flaming bite. Only in their videos. Oh. Only in their videos. Never seen it there, huh? Not, not me personally, not there. Uh, all right.

[00:10:42] What else we got here? We got, uh, this one. Remind you that, uh, there is a free paper shredding Saturday, October 3rd, 9 a.m. till noon. This is over at the Medina United Methodist Church on foot road in Medina. Um, please no plastic, no ring binders, bring old flags for proper disposal. Also, if you'd like to do that, you don't have to be a Medina County resident, um, because this is put on by the Medina County Veterans Services. You don't have to be a veteran either.

[00:11:13] All right. Coming up next Wednesday, um, everyone is invited over to business at the market at Market 42. So this is Wednesday, September 16th from five to seven. There'll be a couple dozen businesses, I think, and some of them are hiring. So you're going to want to make sure that if you're looking for a job, you stop by and, uh, and check them out again, come for dinner, stay for, meet some of your local businesses next Wednesday, 16th, five to seven. Yeah. And I saw the list kind of exciting.

[00:11:46] Yeah, sure. All right. That's it. That's all we got. Nuh-uh. Yeah. It's a short one. Nuh-uh. Hardly worth the, uh, it's only 11 minutes long. What else you want to talk about? It took me longer to walk across the street to your house. What's the group want to talk about? I don't know. Well, no one said anything, so we can't talk about anything. That's because we were so darn fast nobody even tuned in. I know, right? There's six people, but no, now there's five because we said we were done. Oh. What did we miss?

[00:12:15] What happened in the group this week? Hmm. Anything? It was a very boring week. You know, now that we've turned off, um... Oh, everyone's behaving themselves. Now that we've turned off nickname kind... The nickname stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Comments are down I think 11%. But, but our time spent moderating is down 40, 50, 40%. Yeah. So, uh, yeah. That's okay. Everybody's owning their words and the group has become a better place and, um... Yeah. Yeah. Good stuff. You say so.

[00:12:44] I do. Oh, triking bike this weekend. I forgot to mention that. How'd you forget that? Uh, yeah. I think they, I saw that they've already raised $36,000-ish. Uh, so congratulations to them. Uh, you can still participate. You can still donate. You can still just head up there and check it out. It's a fun event put on, um... Do you know when it is? No. It's this weekend. It's this weekend. Let's see here. It's a race to see who's gonna find it first.

[00:13:18] If I can spell trike correctly. Let's see. Let's see. Let's see. Oh, there it is. There it is. It's Friday. Tomorrow. Tomorrow. 5 p.m. Ride starts at 6 at the high school. Right at the track. 100% of every dollar raised supports pediatric cancer research. So if you'd like to donate, look, QR code is right there on the screen for your convenience. Look at that. I know.

[00:13:48] I know, right? My head just going back and forth. Back and forth. On the fly. Oh my goodness. That's it. That's all we got. We need some topics. So you guys reach out and tell us what you want to talk about. Oh, the roundabout is supposed to be open on September 14th. With the trees in the middle or without? September 14th is the date. Yeah, I mean the trees... Look, you're going down the road. You don't need... It doesn't matter who's coming at you, right? It doesn't matter. No.

[00:14:17] All you're doing is looking left to make sure there's nobody coming from your left. And then when you turn, you're looking right. Maybe. To see who's coming from that way. I mean, you need to be... Although they should be looking for you. They should be looking, but you do need to be cognizant of the people to your right. Right. They're not entering when they're not supposed to. Maybe we'll find that video from the police officer who was explaining roundabouts. Remember? Yeah, we should post that again. We'll post that again next week. So you think it's going to be open, huh? It says September 14th.

[00:14:47] Oh, and you know what else I noticed? Our granite monument is gone. Yeah. They replaced it with the three trees. That's because they don't want anybody to damage it. No, I'm talking about the one on 303 though. Oh yeah, it's down to just a little... Yeah. Little... Little wall. That only took like a year and a half. That was a long time. Can you imagine? So now maybe somebody will buy that property. What would you guys like to see going in there? Don't say Olive Garden. Hmm.

[00:15:15] Maybe we'll post that as a question and we'll talk about it next week. As a... Yeah. As a... As a... One of those surveys that let people add whatever they want. Yeah, and there'll be 50,000... Let's do it. Oh, making an Olive Garden. Wow. Take care, Brunswick. All right, Brunswick. We'll see you guys later. Bye.
